AGM Plc have become part of a Carbon ‘Offsetting’ Scheme with AllStar Ecopoint, Carbon ‘offsetting’ is the means in which an individual or business invests back in to the environment to counteract their unavoidable CO2 emissions. AGM Plc have demonstrated their commitment to enhancing the UK’s natural environment by balancing its residual carbon footprint with UK woodland creation.
As a result, new woodlands totalling 963,865 trees and covering 1,629 acres are being created and protected by Forest Carbon on behalf of Allstar and its Ecopoint members. Aquatronic Group Management Plc has contributed 259 trees to this total.
Over the next 100 years these trees will provide significant multiple benefits to society, including carbon dioxide capture totalling approximately 236,606 tonnes, habitat for biodiversity, flood mitigation, cleaner rivers and air, recreation space and employment creation.
